Deposits, refunds, amendments, and what happens if the weather turns.
Cancel 48 hours or more before your activity and you get a full refund, deposit included. Inside 48 hours, or a no-show, is non-refundable. If we cancel, you choose a new date or a full refund.
A deposit is required to secure your booking with our local Sharm El Sheikh service providers. For activities such as quad biking and water sports, it reserves the vehicles, equipment, guides and time slots for your group specifically. Once we have placed that reservation on your behalf, the slot is held for you and not offered to anyone else.
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time receive a full refund, including the deposit. Refunds are returned by the same method you paid, normally within five working days of us confirming the cancellation.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start time are non-refundable, as are no-shows. By that point our providers have committed staff and equipment to your booking and we are charged for it whether or not you travel.
If something genuinely unavoidable has happened — illness, a delayed flight, a family emergency — tell us anyway. We cannot promise anything, but we would always rather move your booking to another day than keep your money for a trip you did not take.
Changes depend on what our providers have available. Requests made 48 hours or more ahead of the scheduled time are normally accommodated at no extra charge.
If you move to a more expensive experience, you pay the difference. If you move to a cheaper one, we refund the difference. Requests made inside 48 hours are treated as a late cancellation.
If we or our partners cancel because of weather, sea conditions, safety concerns or any other circumstance outside your control, you choose between an alternative date, an alternative activity of equivalent value, or a full refund.
Desert and Red Sea conditions change quickly and our providers occasionally stand activities down at short notice. That decision is always about safety, and it is never yours to pay for.
If an experience begins but has to be ended early for safety reasons, we will offer a partial refund or a credit reflecting the part of the experience you did not receive. We will agree this with you directly rather than applying a fixed formula.
Contact us as soon as you know, by either route:
The 48-hour clock runs from when your message reaches us, not from when we reply. If you message us at 5pm for a 9am activity two days later, you are inside the window even if we answer the next morning.
Tell your guide at the time if you can, and message us as soon as possible afterwards. Problems we hear about on the day can usually be put right on the day; problems we hear about a fortnight later rarely can. Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights.
