The agreement between you and Sharm Desert Dreams when you use this site or book with us.
Sharm Desert Dreams arranges private desert and Red Sea experiences in Sharm El Sheikh, South Sinai, Egypt. Our booking team is UK-based; the activities themselves are delivered in Egypt by local providers.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Sharm Desert Dreams. “You” means the person making the booking, on behalf of everyone in your group.
By using this website or booking with us, you accept these terms. You must be at least 18 to make a booking.
We act as a booking agent. We agree your itinerary with you, then reserve the vehicles, boats, guides and time slots with our local partners in Sharm El Sheikh on your behalf.
The activities are operated by those local providers, who are responsible for delivering them safely and to the standard we have described to you. We choose our partners carefully and we deal with problems on your behalf, but we are not the operator of the activity itself.
We are not a travel agent and we do not sell flights, accommodation, or holidays. We sell individual day experiences to people who are already in Sharm El Sheikh.
Prices depend on the experience, the size of your group and any extras, so we do not publish fixed prices. The sequence is always the same:
Nothing is booked, and no money is due, until you have seen the price in writing and agreed to it. A quote is valid for 7 days unless we say otherwise.
We take payment in GBP. After you accept a quote we send a PayPal invoice or payment link, usually through the same WhatsApp conversation. You can pay it with a credit or debit card, or with a PayPal account — you do not need a PayPal account to pay a PayPal invoice.
The deposit confirms your booking. Any balance is payable as set out in your quote. We will always tell you the full amount before you pay anything.
We never ask for card details over WhatsApp, by email, or over the phone. If you receive a message that appears to be from us asking for card numbers directly, it is not from us — please tell us.
Refunds are governed by our Cancellation Policy. In short: cancel 48 hours or more before your activity for a full refund; cancellations inside 48 hours and no-shows are non-refundable; if we cancel, you choose a new date or a full refund.
Where this page and the Cancellation Policy differ, the Cancellation Policy applies.
You agree that:
Our providers may refuse participation, without refund, if someone is intoxicated, refuses safety equipment, or behaves in a way that puts themselves or others at risk. This is a safety decision, not a commercial one.
Desert and water activities carry inherent risks. Quad biking, camel and horse riding, snorkelling and boat trips all involve some physical exertion and a real, if small, possibility of injury.
You should hold travel insurance that covers the activities you have booked. Many standard policies exclude quad biking and some water sports unless you add cover. Please check your policy before you travel — we cannot arrange insurance for you and we do not provide it.
Hotel pick-up and drop-off within Sharm El Sheikh is included. We confirm a pick-up window rather than an exact minute, because traffic and other collections in the same resort affect it.
Please be ready in your hotel lobby at the start of the window. If your group is more than 15 minutes late and we cannot reach you, the booking may be treated as a no-show. If we are running late, we will message you.
Our guides sometimes take photographs during experiences and we may use them on this website or on our social media. Tell us at any point — before, during or after — if you would prefer that we did not, and we will not use them. We will never publish a photograph alongside your name without asking you first.
The content of this site — text, photographs, design and layout — belongs to us or is used with permission. You may use the site to browse and to make an enquiry. You may not:
We are responsible for arranging your booking with reasonable care and skill, and for choosing our local partners with reasonable care.
We are not liable for loss or damage that was not foreseeable when you booked, for anything caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control — weather, sea conditions, closures, civil unrest, acts of the Egyptian authorities — or for loss of or damage to personal belongings taken on an activity.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Please raise it with your guide at the time if you can, and contact us as soon as possible afterwards on +44 7415 692806 or at sharmdesertdreams@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge a complaint within two working days and to resolve it within fourteen.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one published when you made it, and we will send you a copy on request.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts. Nothing here requires you to go to arbitration or prevents you from going to court.
